FLOOR DEPOT established an office in Puchong (Selangor) that served Klang Valley contractors and designers in the year 2001. In the span of 5 years, we expanded our business to Johor Bahru, Ipoh, and Penang. As demand for quality flooring increased, FLOOR DEPOT’s name became more prominent and we began our venture into the ASEAN market with the opening of our branches in Indonesia. In less than 10 years, we positioned FLOOR DEPOT as one of the top flooring solutions providers in the country.
Awards and recognition started pouring in – among the accolades we received include Superbrands Malaysia’s Choice 2008 & 2009, Malaysia Power Brand – Mark of Quality 2008, Asia Pacific – Super Health Brand (New Health 100), SME Brand Excellence Awards 2011 and Green Label Singapore.
As we grow, we realized the increasing importance of sustainability, as such, we introduced the S.H.E. flooring concept, which stands for Save, Healthy and Eco-friendly. We ensure that all our business practices are in line with our S.H.E agenda. We also started going by the tagline ‘My Floor, My Way’.
Today, we have established the FLOOR DEPOT brand as one of the leading flooring solutions providers in the country. Moving with times, we embraced the digital way of doing business and introduced the country’s first online flooring shopping platform, Floordepot2u.com as well as the first Mobile Application for flooring. We aim to provide a better online to offline (O2O) shopping experience to our customers – with the opening of our Express Outlets around Klang Valley and other states, we hope to provide convenience to our customers by being their neighborhood flooring provider, who is available both at their fingertips and their doorsteps.
